Are you thinking that there is a Santy Clause out there that will pay all your debts off, and charge you one payment a month? Do you own a house, can you get a loan? - if so do that first.
The only other debt consolidator I know about takes your money every month and pays your bills for you. Yes, they will pay all your bills for you, and they will call up and talk to all the people you owe money to and explain that your payments may be less than the minimum and that you’ve given them your credit cards, and will not be adding new charges for the next two years. That you’ve promised not to apply for other credit cards, store accounts or bank loans. And you will give them a monthly payment each and every month, so that they can pay your bills, and they will charge you a fee for doing this - I thing it would be about $200.00 for a set-up fee and then 3% to 10% a month of your monthly total amount. If your bills add up to $300.00; they charge you $10 to $30.00 a month for their service. I have never done this - I’m just guessing about the fees. If that sounds reasonable to you then go ahead. The best way to raise your score is TO NOT HAVE ANY LATE payments. Low minimum payments are acceptable. If you’ve been turned down on a credit application - you’ve the right to see your credit reporting agency file. After you get that you look and see all the stuff that’s bad on your report, and send back a letter, pointing out any erroneous entries. BK and charge-backs(Bills gone to collection agencies) are the worst.

Don’t do that.
Go to a certified credit counselor.

Debt consolidation has a minimal effect on your credit. In most cases, you apply for a home refinance or debt consolidation loan and use the proceeds to pay your other debts. Although you will now have a single larger debt on your credit report, several small debts will be eliminated. There are other programs that are also referred to as “Debt Consolidation” programs, such as credit counseling and debt settlement, these will have some sort of adverse effect on your credit.
